What’s in a name?
Mermuto (pronounced Mur-moo-toe) is a combination of the words "Mercury" and "muto." Mercury is the Roman god associated with speed, communication, and transition. Muto is the Latin verb meaning "to change, move, or shift." When combined, these words invoke a powerful incantation of transformation.
Our name gestures toward our core skill: We are adept at guiding transformations at the individual, team, and organizational levels. We are scholar-practitioners steeped in rich education in Organizational Psychology, Change Leadership, and Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to our formal training and education, we have over 30 years of combined experience working at the executive level in organizations, facilitating real-world change.
